An evening in Munich

In our first day in Munich, after settling to our hotel, we planned to have a dinner in the city center. Our first destination was Marienplatz which is the main square in Munich. Munich is not a big city, not a small one either. It has a very nice rail system. You can travel anyplace you like using u-bahn or s-bahn. Marienplatz was lively but not crowded in a saturday evening. Passing through small streets, our second destination was Hofbrauhaus. Since it was saturday, we couldn't find anyplace to sit or eat. The local Baverian band was singing and the crowd was joining the song, clapping hands. We passed by the crowd and got out to the garden. The weather was lovely in an October evening but still no place to sit. We looked for a place upstairs but no luck. We had to eat in somewhere else. Since we were hungry, we sat down to the nearest place which was Orlando - Haus. We waited for a long time but none of the waiters came. So we left the restaurant and looked for another place to eat. We started to walk back to Marienplatz and finally found a nice place to sit and eat (Hofer. Der Stadtwirt). That was a lovely evening in Munich.

There were big changes in the museum compared to my first visit. The museum was split into three different museums: Verkehrszentrum, Flugwerft Schleissheim and Deutsches Museum. In Verkehrszentrum, there are land vehicles and related objects. On the other hand, Flugwerft Schleissheim is about planes and related stuff. Since we didn’t have time for all of these museums, we only visited Deutsches Museum. You can buy a combined ticket for these three museums; it is cheaper than buying s...
